Understanding device limitations
ECG takes place using a single-lead, as such it is meant to be used for daily cardiac monitoring amongst the crew. It can only detect the most common irregularities, such as Atrial Fibrillation (Arrhythmia). It can though be placed on Lead I & Lead II positions using the accessory electrodes. For a complete assessment, e.g. when you have crew members with previous history of heart-related issues, you will have to use our 12-lead AI ECG.
